Each hide is personally selected from the tannery in Devon, J.& F. J. Baker who are Britain’s only remaining traditional oak bark tannery. This quality of heavy gauge bridle leather cannot be found anywhere else in Europe.

These designs have led to developing some interesting techniques in construction and finishing including making use of the unique qualities of the fine wax from the rare Cornish Black Bee.
